Praying for Time....

you've got to listen to this song and I mean really listen.... what a message!!!!!! I love Carrie Underwood and her version of this song is AMAZING!!!!! NO, I do not agree that He...meaning Jesus will not come back, cause He has no children to come back for.... but it really puts into perspective what we need to be doing.... missionary work!!!!!! First living our best and then helping other realize how and why we do what we do!!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!

I have't heard that song. She's right!
Your comment surprised me Amy. I guess I pushed it to the back of my mind that Mormons do not believe in the same God that Christians do. That is a good reminder for me to keep praying for Mormons to come to Christ. Because Jesus will be coming back for His children whether you believe it or not.

Wow you took that the WRONG way!!!! I was DISAGREEING with the song where she says that "He will not come back, because there are no children to come back for" I KNOW He will be coming back for His followers!!!!! but you can still keep praying for Mormons to come to Christ and ALL people for that matter, that is a GREAT prayer!!!!!!

Thanks for your prayers Toni! I came to Christ a while ago and even served a mission to help others to come to Christ. Keep the prayers coming though because your testimony in Christ can never be to strong. Dan

Sorry Amy. I went back and re-read what you wrote and combined with your explanation above I now understand what you were saying. Since you believe in a different definition of the trinity than I do I guess I took what was said the wrong way. It gets confusing to talk to Mormons about God and religion cause you guys use some of the same words but have different meanings to them than Christians do.
Despite all that keep praying for time!! :0)

Daniel, without trying to sound offensive, I don't believe Mormon missionaries help others come to Christ. They help others come to Joseph Smith and idolize latter day prophets. It has very little to do about God. But please take that lightly causethat is just my opinion and I'm not saying that to demean what you did cause I was not there. Despite all that, I have met some Mormons who seem to really love the Lord but it is very few. Most of them just praise J. Smith who I believe to be the same as Warren Jeffs.

WOW AMY... Who knew you'd get these kind of responses after putting up this song! I listened to it and didnt really tear it to pieces but i dont agree that Jesus will not come back. I believe he will... He is going to come back for all his children, not matter what religion you are. So I look forward to the day to see him again! Cause i know we will!!! Maybe you should start to keep the religious topics to a minimum! You might start a war here! :) See you this weekend! Pay is excited to see Camber. And i am excited to eat all DAY with you!

Some of us can handle a religious conversation. Amy and I talk openly about religion every now and then. No one is fighting here. We are just stating our opinions. And a matter of fact I apologized for mis-understanding her opinion. Christians and Mormons have very different beliefs. I think it is interesting and healthy to talk about it. Most Mormons are scared to death to talk about it and just get defensive.
I want to thank Amy (Mike's Amy), Sarah, Joseph, and Brandon for being so open to having conversations with me about Mormons and Christians. By doing that shows me that you really care to get to know me and what I believe. It really means a lot.
Just like your religion is everything to you my God is everything to me.

I really do enjoy having religous discussions with others. WHEN both parties are respectful of the others beliefs. I'm not easily offended but i do get offended when people are just rude and throw out anti-mormon stuff... for instance, The whole comparing Joseph Smith and Waren Jeffs was Completely out of line, and i found it super offensive. To compare a man who RAPES 12 year old girls to our Prophet was out right rude. I am sorry but it was. Religion is awesome and I am thankful that we each can have our own. I respect you Toni I really do, I just got the impression with your comments, and maybe i mis-interpreted them but it sounded to me like you were being mean rather than being respectful and asking questions. We are good people trying to do good in the world. We never step on any one elses toes for what they believe and we hope that people will do the same for us. Its good to have beliefs and I hope you know We respect yours. Hopefully this wont keep you from asking questions, cause we love to answer them. :)
