Cyrene Is Officially......

ONE Month Old!!!!!!!

and to celebrate, on her special "one month old day" she stayed up and partied all day with us and then.........slept ALL, yes I did say ALL night!!!!! I'm not going to expect it again, although it would be nice, but I know from experience that just because they do it once DOESN'T mean it's the way it will be from now on. I just REALLY enjoyed the full nights sleep while it lasted!!!!

Carlie has been working on this communication device at her preschool for about 6 months or so, the teacher mentioned to me, back in Dec. that she hit it for the first time on her own. So with the help of Amberlee( her Respite provider) I was able to go and spend a day with her at school, while Amberlee was home, hiking with my other kiddos (other than Cyrene, I had her with me...) and see her do this with my own eyes. It was AMAZING... she not only hit it once, but EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!!!!!! This is a HUGE break through, because it is the first REAL way we might be able to communicate with our sweet little angel.... this device is only the first step to more devices that can spell out word for word what she wants to say!!!!! We only pray, one day we will be able to hear her talk, but if it is through a device like these, we'll take it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! again sorry it's sideways, I turned my camera to get a better angle, forgetting that you can't do that while on video record...., but you still can see the excitement!!!!! listen for the words "more please"......

I posted something OTHER than a picture of Cyrene! the kids were so proud of their latest fort, they build at least one a week, the last one was a tee pee. They are so creative and active, I still can't get over how the heck they drag their supplies around,... the railroad ties are anything but light!!!!! They make us so proud!!!!

What a BLESSING.......

....it was to have all of you attend and celebrate Cyrene's blessing with us. What a blessing it was to have Mike and all the priesthood holders give her such a sweet and amazing blessing. What a blessing it was to share the day visiting and catching up with you all afterwards and what a blessing it was to have such great food to eat.

Whoever said this was EASY......

Didn't have FIVE kids!!!!!!
I thought life with a newborn little girl would be dressing her up, feeding her and then... putting her on the shelf until the next feeding and changing, but... NO she wants to be held and rocked and bounced in between all those changings and feedings!!!! I guess you forget a lot after four years of not having a newborn!!!!

She's THREE Weeks old... AHHHHH!

Week by week , we are sure enjoying our sweet Cyrene!!!!!

She is such a CUTIE!!!!!!

She eats, poops, sleeps and requires a fair amount of TLC, which we gladly provide!!!!!

She is starting to be more alert and I love when those big beautiful eyes are wide open ready for the camera.

Cyrene at Two Weeks

she's growing soo fast, things have been a little hectic here trying to juggle everything is a little harder than I expected, especially adding homeschooling back into the picture... but hopefully as time passes we will get it all done, one great thing is that we now have Carlie's Respite provider, Amberlee, helping out with Carlie 20 hours a week!!!! What a HUGE help that has been!!!!!!

Cyrene is really getting used to this being born thing, she is a Great nurser, I call her my piranha, because she attacks me and it is quite uncomfortable for the first 30 seconds or soo, but then she calms down and we both enjoy the experience! The kids still adore her , but are not as serious about holding her all day... yeh, cuz she was really eating up that idea and then you know who would HAVE to hold her when they did not want to...ME!!!

Over all, she is a Great baby and we would not trade her for the world!!!!!!

Getting sick of seeing pictures of Cyrene. Cyrene at ONE Week...

I accidentally deleted this post, so I wanted to get these pictures back up.... I can't believe how fast she's growing!!!!

I took her in for an appointment and she weighed 9lbs and 4 oz. yesterday... AHHHH, I was really hoping she stay tiny, but I guess you can't control everything....

Just for Jana.....

Jana and I have been going over headbands for Taylor's and Cyrene's blessings and I wanted to show her what I'm in the process of making... but of course I'd love all of your opinions... wondering if it's too big... I personally think it's fine, especially for the blessing dress, plus I plan on putting it on the bodice of the dress as well....

My Favorite Noise......

I know it sounds ridiculous, but my Absolute favorite noise Cyrene makes is when she's POOP'IN.... this cute little grunt comes out of no where and the faces she pulls... I just had to record this.... I hope you'll ENJOY this as much as I do.......
